Migrant Stories...

A trip down memory lane for some and a narrative for others.

This semester I was immersed into the lives of migrants.  As a class, we studied the happenings of migrants in China, Tonga, Morocco, Mexico, and many other places.  We saw that migrants migrate because of varying economic and social circumstances.  We learned the stories of many migrants.  As I was studying the lives of migrants around the world I found that I was drawing similarities and differences from the experiences of my own family.  It just so happens that I am a daughter of migrants and therefore, my webpage has focused on my family a lot more than I thought I would.  The migrants I have studied are, primarily, the ones I share a meal with.

I invite you to immerse yourself and to, like me, venture into the lives of another.
